The specialized academic initiative designed for students passionate about the intersection of biology, technology, and innovation.
Regarded as producing proficient science graduates since 1916. Over 10,000 students have graduated with Bachelor degrees. Currently more than 3,000 undergraduate and 1,000 post-graduate students.
Almost 400 academic staff supported by over 300 administrative staff and technicians. Courses and research are supervised by faculty members at the forefront of biotechnological research and innovations in Thailand.
Students from various nationalities bring a wealth of cultural diversity. This exposure helps develop intercultural competence and sensitivity — skills that are increasingly valuable in today's globalized world.
Thailand's rich biodiversity presents valuable opportunities to explore plant and animal species. Students can conduct studies that lead to development of new medicines, technologies, and innovations.
The curriculum is flexible and offers 8 areas of specialization. With access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, students engage in hands-on research and gain practical experience.
Career opportunities include bioengineer, microbiologist, plant and animal biotechnologist, biochemistry technologist, environmental biotechnologist, food scientist and technologist, and more.
